Containers are stacked securely to prevent unauthorised entry, and our facilities are fully alarmed with 24/7 CCTV surveillance. Access to the warehouse is strictly monitored in line with HMRC customs warehousing requirements.

Access

Access to bonded goods is available by prior arrangement. Wherever possible, we recommend advising us in advance if there are specific items you may need to retrieve. This allows us to load containers accordingly, keeping essential items accessible while ensuring ongoing compliance with customs controls.

Item Declaration

All items placed into bonded storage must be clearly identified and accurately declared prior to arrival. This ensures compliance with HMRC customs requirements and helps prevent delays during storage, inspection or release. Goods must be clean, dry and suitable for secure bonded storage, with documentation fully aligned to the declared contents.

Don't Store

For customs, safety and insurance reasons, certain items cannot be stored within a bonded warehouse. These include jewellery, cash, deeds and important documents, as well as hazardous or prohibited goods such as paints, aerosols, gas bottles and weapons. Plants, food, perishable items and anything living must not be included.
