We also use Furnisoft, which combines all the softness of bubble wrap with a non-abrasive lining; this is ideal for furniture which has a smooth or polished surface, such as a high-quality dining room table.

The Quality of Our Staff

All members of our removals teams are trained and qualified to pack (and unpack) your items safely to your new home or office – they take care of your furniture as if it were their own. Although we can pack and unpack any furniture, sometimes you might want to store it rather than immediately relocate it to your new home or office.

Maybe you are downsizing and don’t have room for all your larger items or haven’t yet decided which items to take with you and which to sell on or give away. We also appreciate that sometimes people get stuck in property chains and can’t move into their new home immediately – so a secure storage facility might be necessary until all the paperwork and finances can be sorted out.

At Greens Removals we use a high-quality storage warehouse, which is one of the most state-of-the-art facilities in East Anglia, to house your furniture (even if it’s high value). Everything is wrapped and dust-protected, and you can check on your possessions by prior arrangement.

The facility is also carefully temperature- and humidity-controlled, to ensure there is no moisture or temperature-related damage to your furniture. The whole warehouse is fully secure and protected by CCTV, ensuring that all your belongings are stored safely and securely.

Our Professional Accreditations

At Greens, we are proud to have two relevant Quality Awards for removal services received from the British Standards Institute.

The BS EN 12522 quality award applies to furniture removal for private individuals. To comply, as well as the areas mentioned above, it also covers other criteria, such as using suitable high-quality vehicles during the move.

The BS EN 14873 quality award relates to the storage of furniture for personal effects for private individuals. As well as the areas listed above, this also means that our storage facilities have an alarm system (for fires as well as intruders), and that they are well protected against the elements (and infestation by pests and vermin).
