Epping is a small country town found just 45 minutes away from London by tube, and is surrounded by beautiful countryside and forest. Epping was once famous for its butter, as well as its general agricultural produce which was highly sought after. People travel from London for its weekly market, which sells a huge variety of products for reasonable prices. Epping Forest is the largest area of open space on the outskirts of London, with over 6,000 acres of woodland.

Epping Forest, known as the People’s Forest since Queen Victoria visited in 1882, provides an area for walking, cycling and horse riding, among other activities.
